What We Do

Colonel Joseph Glover Chapter, NSDAR, has impacted the community in many ways since 1962. Members proudly serve in various volunteer and leadership roles in the area’s civic and historical organizations. Our dedication to service to “God, Home, and Country” is fundamental to who we are today.

Genealogical Research Assistance: We offer guidance and support for those seeking to trace their Revolutionary War lineage.

Educational Outreach: We provide programs and resources to local schools and community organizations about American history.

Historical Preservation: We are involved in preserving local historical sites and documents.

Patriotic Celebrations: We participate in and host events honoring patriotic holidays and veterans.

Veteran Support: We support local veterans through various service projects.

Youth Programs: We sponsor the DAR Good Citizens program, the American History Essay Contest, and other youth initiatives.

Community Service: We engage in various projects to serve the needs of our local community.
